the other day, i realized how much i miss writing. not even rping, per se, but more like the actual act of writing, and flexing my writerly muscles. see, the problem that i often face is that i never really sit down/set aside a time to just write something. i always think--oh, i should write that drabble, but i'll do it later. see, rp is laid-back, user and schedule-friendly, but it also allows people (like myself) to procrastinate. i found myself thinking, it'd be nice if there was a space or a time set aside or a deadline where i had to produce something off-the-cuff--a scene, a drabble, a slice of life, something. nothing finished or perfect, but just something to get me writing and producing things, even if they're short one-shot nothing scenes. so, in the spirit of writing,
gentlemen, i have a proposition for you.

so what do you think? does this sound like something you guys would be interested in? once i have a better idea of how many people would be interested, i'll post a second post with more specific information regarding time, comm name, and chat info. also, i'll keep this post public. feel free to pass it along to anyone you think might be down with this. i really think with something like this, the more the merrier. and of course, if you have any questions, comments, critiques, please feel free to comment.
